Port of Humanity Tsuruga Museum

Learn about the history of Tsuruga Port, the only international port in Japan that allowed Polish orphans and Jewish refugees to come ashore, with photos and items from both locals and Jewish refugees from the time. The exhibits also include reproductions of the “visas for life” issued by Chiune Sugihara, the vice-consul of the Japanese consulate in Kaunas, Lithuania.
