Ohi Town
Koyomi Kaikan
The Tsuchimikado clan (descendants of Abe no Seimei, famous for his study of yin and yang about a thousand years ago) lived here in Natasho, Ohi Town for some 120 years in order to escape from war. They told fortunes and performed prayers for the imperial court and the shogun's family, as well as making koyomi calendars. This museum is dedicated to their history. In addition, the collection includes rare old astronomical tools and koyomi calendars, as well as displays of preserved historic remains and materials associated with the Tsuchimikado clan.
