Kehi no Matsubara (Pine Tree Park)

Considered one of Japan's three most beautiful pine parks, alongside Miho no Matsubara in Shizuoka and Niji no Matsubara in Saga. This 1.5-kilometer-long, 400,000-square-meter park has about 17,000 pine trees. Poems about Kehi no Matsubara can be found in the Man'yoshu and the Nihon Shoki (the Chronicles of Japan). In summer, it makes a popular swimming destination, and the well-maintained walking trails are perfect for a walk. It's also simply a nice place for locals to relax.
