Fukui Coastal Nature Center
A hands-on way to learn about nature through facilities and exhibits. This facility is designed to provide an interesting and informative way to learn about nature, while helping to protect nature and encourage activities to improve it. Visitors can learn about the many different creatures that live in Wakasa Bay and the Mikatagoko lakes through various activities, such as feeding fish in the Mysterious Fishtank. In addition, the Center offers hands-on nature activities, such as snorkeling, beach animal observation, making decorative straps with shijimi mussel shells, and more.
